Villarijo also was an abandoned village, untill 2 brothers in the year 2011 decided to relive the village. Located in the valley of the river Linares, it is the lowest village in whole of Soria (800 meters above sealevel)
Thanks to that it enjoys a soft micro-climat, and because of that it houses the biggest olive trees concentration in the entire province. (+-3000 olive trees)
For now there is no real project going in Villarijo, but still it is open to new inhabitants.
Becaus it is nicer to have some people around, the 2 inhabitants are open to recive visitors, people looking to relocate to a village like Villarijo.
But this will be a more individual effort, not like Armejun with its comunity project. Still they can offer visitors a temporary place to stay (house). In Villarijo it would be most likely that new inhabitants will have to purchase a house.(very low prices)
Still for more informacion look on the page of Villarijo (spanish, translation buttons at the bottom)
here you will find more info, pictures, and a contact form (only in spanish), for english messages please write to firstname.lastname@example.org
We do hope to see you soon in Villarijo, allready for day visit, to enjoy and relax.
